Miss Bachelorette South Africa was established in 2018 and hosted its first pageant in 2019, where Makgoshi Maponyane representing Gauteng was crowned the first ever Queen of the Bachelorettes. Makgoshi was succeeded by Khayakazi Koto from Ezibeleni in the Eastern Cape, who handed over the crown to Kwazulu Natal's Mbali Mbanjwa. Lwandle Ngwenya kept the crown in the Kwazulu Natal province as she got crowned Miss Bachelorette South Africa 2023. Recently Ntsoaki Mabaso took the crown back to Gauteng at the 5th Annual Gala Finale.
